How I Work
As a portrait artist I work with various mediums, but I primarily use watercolour and Caran d'Ache colouring pencils as a combination, sometimes dropping in a little acrylic paint where 3-D effect is required.
I will also however carry out commissions using acrylic on canvas board, and on traditional stretched canvas. Occasionally when it is requested or indeed suitable, I will create a mono-toned black on white pencil and charcoal portrait, or similarly create this visual effect by using pastels on sugar-paper.
